Meredith Sutton is a postdoctoral researcher with the DBER-E program. They received their M.S. in Environmental Engineering and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in environmental engineering from the University of Nebraska. Before coming to Nebraska, they earned their B.S. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in environmental and water resources from the University of Virginia. They are passionate about making research accessible and improving communication around science and engineering. Meredith was a part of AGU’s Voices for Science program and was a Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellow with the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. Their research explores barriers to participation in community engaged research and engineering education.
